MATTRESS

No, you do not need to flip your mattress.

You should rotate your mattress every six months.

No, there is no smell or off gassing. All mattresses are CertiPur-Us certified for your safety https://certipur.us/about-the-seal/

It takes about an hour for your mattress to take full shape, depending on your room temperature. Your mattress will expand immediately. You can sleep on it the same night. It can take up to 24hrs for the mattress to return to its original pre-compressed shape.

We don’t recommend keeping your mattress in the box but if you have to, no more than 5 days.

All foam in our Springwall products are CertiPUR-US certified, meaning they are:

  • Made without ozone depleters
  • Made without PBDE flame retardants
  • Made without mercury, lead and other heavy metals
  • Made without formaldehyde
  • Made without phthalates regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission
  • Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million)

The CertiPUR-US® program is administered by a not-for-profit organization and is the most rigorous and comprehensive certification for polyurethane foam.

The CertiPUR-US® seal is your assurance that the foam in your mattress has been tested and certified by an independent laboratory to meet specific criteria for physical performance, indoor emissions and environmental stewardship.

No, not necessarily, but you must follow these guidelines: the mattress must be continuously supported by a matching (or equivalent) foundation and used with an appropriate frame with centre and leg support. A bed requires a minimum of 5 cross slats (1” X 4”) with 3 concentrated in the centre third for double, queen and king sizes as well as longitudinal central beam with a centre leg support.

The weight capacity for the mattresses differs slightly by model. All are designed for two adults to sleep on full-time if you have any specific questions. Email info@springwall.com.

The snap base is designed for optimal performance to a max of 800lbs.

Allow time for the mattress to reach room temperature while in the box. Open and remove mattress from box. Place on a flat, firm surface. Unroll the plastic wrap; you’ll find a tool to open the mattress, safely (opening the wrap around the compressed mattress).  Give the mattress an hour to breathe and fully return to its original pre-compressed height.

Dress with a mattress cover and linen and you’re ready to enjoy your new mattress.

Springwall mattresses are made in Canada. We have facilities in Moncton, Mississauga, and Calgary.

Unfortunately, your mattress will not fit back in the box once its opened.

No, unfortunately we do not.

  • Twin 38″ x 74.5″
  • Twin XL 38″ x 79.5″
  • Full 53″ x 74.5″
  • Queen 60″ x 79.5
  • King 76″ x 79.5

Minimum 14 days, and a general rule is it take approximately 30 days for your body to adjust to a new mattress.

The mattress is shipped rolled and packed in a box, designed to fit in most small areas, for larger mattresses you may need two people to carry it.

Use a vacuum to clean the surface and sides and use the upholstery attachment along the seams. See more tips at: https://certipur.us/mattress_spring_cleaning/ . We also recommend using a mattress encasement to keep the mattress clean and healthy.

We recommend you do not use an iron or excessive heat on the mattress, that includes, a heating pad or electric blanket.

That depends on body size, number of sleepers and the size of your room. Purchase as large of a mattress as you can accommodate, more room in your sleep environment is always better.
